When you use Row.so products or services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your account.
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make significant changes, we will refresh the date at the top of this page and take reasonable steps to notify users.
Definitions
- "Company", "we", "our", or "us" refers to Row.so, the company behind the Row.so platform.
- "Services" refers to row.so and any product we provide for creating, hosting, customizing, syncing, analyzing, and monetizing directories — including AI generation, Google Sheets sync, visual editing, payments integrations, custom domains, and related features — whether delivered in a browser or another format.
- "You" or "your" refers to the person or organization that owns an account with the Services, including workspace members you invite.
- "Directory" means a public or private directory site you create and operate on Row.so.
Account terms
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password, and for ensuring your workspace members do the same. We are not liable for loss or damage from your failure to protect credentials.
- You may not use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that harms, disrupts, or impairs the Service or other customers' directories.
- You are responsible for all content and activity under your account — including listings, submissions, comments, and content posted by your teammates or visitors when those features are enabled.
- You must be a human. Accounts registered by bots or automated methods are not permitted.
Payment, refunds, and plan changes
- Paid plans are billed through our payment providers (such as Lemon Squeezy or Polar). By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees for your plan and billing cycle (monthly, yearly, or lifetime where offered).
- You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future charges; your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated at checkout.
- Upgrades may be charged immediately; downgrades typically take effect on the next billing cycle.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Where required, we or our payment provider collect applicable taxes.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Your directories and content
- You retain ownership of content you upload or create in your directories (listings, media, custom code, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Services.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to publish content in your directories, and that your directories comply with applicable law (including advertising, consumer, and privacy rules for your visitors).
- Features such as public submissions, comments, visitor auth, and paid listing plans are under your control. You are responsible for how you configure and moderate them.
- We do not claim ownership of your directory content. We may refuse or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Cancellation and termination
- You are responsible for canceling your subscription through the product billing settings (or via support if you need help). An informal email alone may not complete cancellation until confirmed.
- After account cancellation, your content becomes inaccessible. Content is deleted from active systems and backups on the timelines described in our Privacy Policy (typically within 60 days).
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, abuse, or risks to the platform or other customers.
- Abuse of Company staff (verbal, written, or otherwise) may result in immediate termination.
Modifications to the Service and prices
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services with or without notice.
- If we change prices for existing customers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice to the email on your account whenever practical.
Uptime, security, and privacy
- The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We take uptime and security seriously but do not offer a formal SLA unless separately agreed in writing.
- We may temporarily limit accounts that significantly exceed normal usage and harm platform performance. We will attempt to contact the account owner before taking action when practical.
- We protect data with encryption in transit and industry-standard infrastructure practices. Custom domains may receive SSL certificates as described in the product.
- We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Features and bugs
We build Row.so carefully based on our own experience and customer feedback. We do not guarantee the Services will meet every specific requirement. Software has bugs; we prioritize security and privacy issues, but not every reported bug will be fixed, and we do not guarantee error-free Services.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Services, procurement of substitute services, unauthorized access to your data, third-party conduct on the Services, or any other matter relating to these Terms — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted by law.
