Google Maps Auto Import for local directories.

Seed a local directory from Google Maps without CSV busywork. In Contents, click Import from Maps to open the Import from Google Maps modal: enter a Keyword, optionally a Location, Search, select places, optionally assign a Category, and Import — using the Google Maps API key you connect under Settings → Integrations.

Contents → Import from Maps

Open the directory dashboard and go to Contents. Next to AI Generate Data and New Item, click Import from Maps — the Import from Google Maps modal opens. Fill in the search fields, pick matches from the results, then import them as listings you can refine, show on Map Locator, and publish as SEO pages.

  • Keyword — e.g. coffee shops, dental clinics
  • Location (optional) — e.g. Hanoi, Brooklyn
  • Search → select places from results → optional Category → Import

Import listings from Google Places

Selected businesses become directory listings with structured place data — ready for filters, map pins, and listing SEO pages.

  • Name, address, and category
  • Rating and review count when available
  • Phone, website, and Google placeId
  • Latitude / longitude for Map Locator pins

Your Google Maps key (BYOK)

Auto Import uses the same Google Maps API key you enable under Settings → Integrations — no separate vendor account or Row.so-hosted Places quota. Enable Places API (New) and Geocoding API on that key. Free OpenStreetMap still powers maps until you connect Google.

Common questions
